Best Qualified, Africa’s first career development network focused on serving the needs of sales and marketing professionals exclusively , will be formally launched in Lagos on Thursday, March 11, 2010.
 
According to the career network’s main evangelist , Miss Bolanle Akinyemi, the BQ network will serve as an interactive platform for professionals looking ti beter improve their career prospects while also acting as a meeting ground for managers seeking to attract top sales talent.  
 
She said, “BQ’s main value proposition is in creating an ecosystem that supports interactions between professionals seeking to better their careers and organizations seeking to tap their talent and help them achieve these goals. BQ enables career growth & employment mobility value for the sales and marketing professional community.”
 
BQ operates with an active presence on the web and the Internet, leveraging online social networks as well as active professional communities to meetand serve her target audience. The career network will be formally launched during this year’s edition of the Anatomy-of-Selling (AOS) programme, which BQ is co-sponsoring.
 
Speaking on BQ sponsorship of the programme, Akinyemi said the BQ brand sees a great fit between what the Anatomy-of-Selling initiative stands for and BQ’s mandate of helping people in sales and marketing grow their careers, hence the decision to sponsor the popular Anatomy-of-Selling seminar for 2010.
 
The Anatomy-Of-Selling program supports the development of the sales profession through Seminars, Workshops, a job placement support program for planting trained sales people into real work environments, a Mentoring & Coaching Support program, Skills-based volunteering Program and Corporate-Academia Partnership.

According to Mr. Oliver Nnona, the Principal Consultant and Chief Executive of Profiliant Development Resources Limited, the Anatomy-of-Selling programme was inaugurated in 2008 and holds once annually.The targets for this programme include fresh graduates, middle level managers, those seeking new profession in sales, business owners, among others.
 
Nnona, while acknowledging the support of the sponsors, noted that their partnership have provided opportunities for would-be participants to move their career to another level.
